Some businesses are built from necessity. Ours was built from belief.
After decades of senior leadership across Australia’s major banks, we arrived at the same conviction — that business owners and investors with real ambition deserved access to a genuinely different level of lending expertise. Not just someone who could find them a loan. Someone who could help them structure for where they’re going, not just where they are.
What brought us together was the recognition that our individual backgrounds combined into something rare. Between us we had led commercial lending divisions, managed multi-billion dollar portfolios, trained the next generation of bankers, and sat in the rooms where the most complex credit decisions were made. That combination — across credit, commercial lending, finance and accounting — simply didn’t exist in the advisory market.
So we built it.
Providence was named with intention. Care and guidance are the foundations of how we work. Our compass embodies that same purpose — direction, clarity, and the confidence to move forward.

Adrian is a specialist commercial lending broker with over 20 years of senior banking experience, including a career-defining role leading the Sydney CBD Business Banking division at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. In that role, he managed a commercial lending portfolio exceeding $1 billion, working directly with business owners and investors across property, healthcare, professional services, hospitality, manufacturing, and retail.
That inside experience means Adrian understands how credit decisions are actually made — and how to position a deal for the best possible outcome before it ever reaches a lender. He’s guided hundreds of clients through complex funding transactions, from commercial property acquisitions to business finance restructures and specialist lending scenarios.
At Providence Lending Group, Adrian specialises in commercial loans, business lending, and more complex funding scenarios where structure and lender selection matter. Clients value his straight-talking advice, practical judgement, and long-term commitment to getting the right result — not just the easy one.

Papan is a mortgage broker and commercial lending specialist with nearly two decades of senior experience across ANZ, Westpac, and Commonwealth Bank, where he oversaw a combined portfolio of $5.8 billion across commercial and residential lending. His background spans commercial property finance, credit assessment, financial modelling, and the structuring of complex, high-value transactions.
Having worked inside the major banks at a senior level, Papan has a first-hand understanding of how lenders assess risk — knowledge he now applies entirely in his clients’ interests. He’s known for his technical depth and ability to design lending solutions that hold up under scrutiny, whether that’s a commercial property acquisition, an SMSF lending structure, or a working capital facility under pressure.

Sudeep is a finance broker and Chartered Accountant with over 19 years of senior experience across KPMG and Westpac, where he led finance teams managing multi-billion-dollar lending portfolios and advised senior leadership on major funding and strategy decisions. That combination — deep accounting expertise and direct lending experience inside a major bank — gives him a perspective most mortgage brokers simply don’t have.
Business owners and investors working through complex funding decisions often come to Sudeep when the situation needs careful structuring, not just a lender search. He understands how lending decisions are shaped from the inside, which choices open up future options and which ones quietly close them off — and uses that knowledge to help clients think beyond the immediate transaction.
